How We Approach Public Address Systems
A PA system has two completely different jobs — pleasant background paging on a normal day, and clear, intelligible voice evacuation instructions in an emergency — and a design that's good at one is often bad at the other. We engineer coverage and zoning for both cases from the start, and integrate voice evacuation directly with the fire alarm panel so the system triggers automatically rather than depending on someone finding a microphone during an actual emergency.

Our Process
From Survey to Handover
We measure ambient noise levels at floor level, not just on a drawing, since a PA system pleasant in an empty building can be unintelligible once it's full of people and machinery running. Zoning is mapped against the building's actual fire compartments before speaker layout is finalized, since evacuation zoning and paging zoning don't always follow the same lines. Voice evacuation integration is tested against a simulated fire alarm trigger before handover, with a copy of the test log kept for civil defense records.
